What Data We Collect

Short answer: Almost nothing. All tools on ThisDevTool run entirely in your browser. Your tool input data (code, text, tokens, or files) is processed locally and never sent to our servers.

Data We Do NOT Collect

• Your code, JSON, regex patterns, or any tool inputs
• Your JWT tokens, hashes, or passwords
• Files you process (images, CSVs, etc.)
• Your name, email, or any account information (we don't have accounts)

Data We Do Collect

• Analytics data: We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site. This includes pages visited, time on site, browser type, device type, and approximate geographic location (country/city level). This data is aggregated and cannot identify individual users.
• Theme preference: Your dark/light mode preference is stored in your browser's localStorage (never sent to our servers).
• Feedback & ratings: If you voluntarily submit a tool rating or comment via the feedback widget, we transmit the tool name, your rating, your comment text, and the page path to our feedback service at portal.ayitcreativity.com. This data is used solely to improve our tools. Feedback is aggregated and is not linked to your identity. No feedback is collected unless you actively submit it.

Advertising

ThisDevTool displays advertisements via Google AdSense to support free access to our tools. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve relevant ads. These third parties may collect information about your visits to this and other websites.

Cookies

ThisDevTool is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
